Samantha Mejia Intriago

Hello. I am an 11 year old female by the name of Samantha. I attend MAS school in Miami,Florida. I had taken an interest in tech production since i was 9 years old. I had been practicing in programs such as gimp and other softwares similar. It's funny really, when I was small i used to think i'de never try out photoshop, and here i am now working with it as part of my daily schedule! I love photoshop and I work with it almost everyday due it's importance to me. I also took an interest towards drawing/Illustrating when i was 7, or at least began drawing seriously. But of course at the age of 7 i was next to terrible at art, as well as lines. But of course, as i progressed to drawing stiff-like cat figures into smother looking animals, I took an interest in drawing anthropomorphic animals. I guess it was easier for me. I started to draw humans, and i finally gained confidence into drawing people. I lost a short tiem interest to drawing anthropomorphic animals, but it quickly came back becuase it's very appealing!I would love to animate on a project, at least 3 minutes long. I would love to animate with my characters, and see them come to life! Anmating is so exciting to me, becuase at the end of the day im either proud of my work or i'm not. Either way i've slaved all day at the computer animating so wether i like it or not, it's good practice. What got me into animating is seeing movies like robin hood and balto, becuase they are hand drawn and frankly quite amazing. I also have youtubers who animate as an inspiration as well.

ARTIST

In the future, I would like to be a full-time digital artist. I love drawing, and i have been practicing for years. I am taking technology production becuase it will help me with photoshop, a phenominal program to work. I am looking foward to learning about Adobe Illustrator.

I gave been practicing animating for 3 years now. I'de say i still have to practice but other than that, i want to make an animated series. I have been practicing animating over the summer on my tablet. Although they range to 4 second videos to 20, they are good practice.

I would like to become and design characters for video games and make one to, such as mario, undertale, and parappa. I have original characters of my own that i love to death and make an animated series with them one day hopefully.

ANIMATE FOR A COMPANY

I would very much enjoy animating for a famous company such as PIXAR or studio ghibli. I would like to work with 2d animaion since i grew up mostly with that style and its far more easier for me now.  I would like to make childrens childhood so that they would remember my films i make as part of their childhood and make them happy.
